Alicia Silverstone was an American actress, who gained fame for her role as Clueless in the movie. She started her acting career when she was just a child and then became a popular teenager and an icon. In an Aerosmith song video she played a rebellious and foxy teenager. She was one of the top actresses of Hollywood. Her stellar performance in Clueless resulted in her signing an agreement worth millions of dollars with Columbia TriStar in addition to having established her own production firm. She was unable to be able to make a mark following the release of Clueless however, she did manage to catch the attention of the critics with her performance as Batgirl in Batman & Robin. She was a host of characters in a variety of films, which included Beauty Shop, Stormbreaker and Excess Baggage. As well as her work in the film industry as a actress, she was also a part of the television show Miss Match as a matchmaker. She also supports a variety of causes. She is a vegan advocate and her advocacy for animals has enabled her establish herself as a prominent lifestyle icon. Alicia Silverstone is also the writer of her own vegan cookbook, The Kind Diet.
